Why do we collect data?
We need to collect data from you when providing quotations for potential work, establishing contracts and setting up the service required.

What do we collect?
From our website, we only collect the information you submit when you complete the contact form or email us directly.

We do collect cookie information from Google Analytics which tells us about the pages you visit on the website, how long you spend on a page and so on  – the cookies don’t tell us who you are but it's useful for us to understand how people use the website and help us improve your experience and the resources we provide. Cookies don’t tell us who you are, and of course, you can always switch cookies off.

Most of the data that we collect, other than client data, is from the business cards you’ve given us with the knowledge that it will be used to contact you. So quite simply if you don’t want us to store that information or contact you – even if we might be able to do some great things together or have some great conversations over coffee and cake – then please don’t give your card to us.

The sort of personal information we collect is:

  • Name
  • Job title
  • Organisation name
  • Contact information such as email addresses and telephone numbers
  • Business address
  • Twitter name
  • Website address

How long will the information be kept?
Quite simply as long as it's needed and for as long as it’s up to date. If emails bounce back to us because you changed your email address we will delete you from our system. But if you tell us that your email address has changed we’ll overwrite it with the new one.

Where we hold a contract with a client, data is held as long as is required under the agreement, or if there is a legal requirement to keep it for longer.

Who else has access to your information?
From time to time we may work with other companies or individuals who may need to have access to your data as part of the work that they are doing for us: your consent always be obligated to keep the data safe and never use it for their own purposes.
